Deconstruct #3: "Oreo Turns 100 Years Young"

It's Oreo's 100th birthday, as the first oreo cookie was sold on this day, March 6, in 1912. Of course, the world's top-selling biscuit cookie delicacy had to do it big, and its birthday is all about remembering your childhood. Using nostalgia to win over attention, Oreo is having a limited-edition cookie launch, with birthday themed cookies available all over the world. They're advertising in print, online, on TV, and in stores globally. On Facebook, fans are able to be featured on their birthday with Oreo Moments' "Birthday of the Day". Milk's favorite cookie did a great job of reminding America to twist, lick and dunk in celebration of it's birthday, engaging consumers on every platform that they could dip into.
